Funeral Procession

Lying and leading the way in his hearse.

Never drawing such commotion

Until now and since birth.

Police motorcycles – front and rear-

Flank a convoy of cars

Warning traffic to steer clear.

Car after car pass in this procession.

He’s wishing for one day more

To revel in this attention.
