Father Knows Best

Father knows best.
When I remember this, when I allow my attitude to be readjusted by this truth, things go more smoothly for me because I’m not resisting. I am not attached to the way I need things to be, the way I believe things would be better.
My attitude changes to one of doing the best I can whether I want to be in my situation or not. I do my best despite my opinion of the circumstance. And I am less anxious and irritated when I’m focused on solving the issues at hand rather than harping on why I shouldn’t have to deal with them. As a result my perception is keener. I am able to see things I would have otherwise overlooked and sense things I would not have been able to feel. And I am able to come from a place where I can act as each moment requires rather than react based on my hardened position. I am able to be present.
