Opportunity is everywhere

Because I am not attached to the results, there is opportunity in every outcome.

This intention occurred to me as I was waking from a good night’s rest this morning. I was wondering if a certain someone would in fact have the courage to call me today. My thoughts drifted to what my response would be if he didn’t and I was, surprisingly, unemotional and even unconcerned with this possibility. If he does or if he doesn’t I am better for it. If he doesn’t I will know that he is not at a point in his journey to walk with me, but I gave him ample opportunity to rise to the occasion. If he does, then I will get to continue to grow along with him. I will continue to improve my communication skills. I will continue learning to trust my instincts and intuition. And I will continue to become more and more fearless. And, in turn, he will benefit from my evolution as well.

You see, there is opportunity in every path we pick and in every path that picks us. The trick is being unattached enough so that we are not resistant and are able to be open and willing to go with the flow.
